The Mission of the Employment Resource Center (ERC): "To provide quality career exploration, job search assistance, and employment resources to students, alumni and community members in order to assist them in reaching their educational and career goals."
Sometimes the hardest part of the job is finding one. At LWTC, we don’t just make sure you have the job skills to succeed; we make sure you have the job.
The following resources and services are available to support your career planning and job search :

Search for current job postings, apply to jobs online, and post your resume using our online service.
- Job search advice and assistance.
- Workshops covering career planning and job search topics such as the "Career Choice Workshop" and the “WorkPlace 101" series of workshops
- Information on job fairs, hiring events and career information sessions in our area
- Assistance from community-based organizations that help with job placement and training opportunities:
- Pacific Associates – Tuesdays
- King County Dislocated Worker Program - Wednesdays
- Books and reference materials related to career exploration, job search, resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and networking
- Computer with Internet access, phone and fax for job search
- Workshops related to career exploration and resume writing
- Career assessments and inventories to assist in career exploration
- On-campus employer recruiting opportunities including our annual Employment & Education Fair (see under "ERC/Events")
