Employment fair posterThe 10th annual Employment and Education Fair features more than 65 employers with hundreds of career opportunities, as well as over 15 educators from regional colleges with information on student transfer opportunities.

You can connect with some of the region’s best employers, as well as find out the latest information on:

  • Job search resources and strategies
  • Resume and cover letter assistance
  • Interviewing tips

As part of the Employment & Education Fair, two special events are being held in LWTC’s West Building fourth floor auditorium:

Keynote Speaker
Sherri Edwards
“Exposing the Myths: Turn Around Your Job Search.”
9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Sherri Edwards of Resource Maximizer will kick off the Employment & Education Fair with an exciting and motivating job search presentation. Edwards is a leading Pacific Northwest motivational speaker and consultant, specializing in helping individuals make the most of their job search.

Workshop
“There’s Bucks Out There”
Noon to 1 p.m.

This workshop will explore career opportunities in high-wage, high-skilled jobs in fields where women have traditionally feared to work in. It features a panel of five successful professional women who have established themselves in “non-traditional” careers, including engineering, marine engine technology and high technology. Come to this workshop and discover exciting, high-paying new career opportunities!

In addition, you can prepare for the Employment and Education Fair by attending these FREE workshops being held at LWTC’s West Building (room 204):

  • Success on the Job – Feb. 13, 11 a.m. to noon
  • Preparing for a Job Fair – Feb. 20, 11 a.m. to noon
