The primary mission of the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) at Lake Washington Technical College is to support college's management, decision-making, and planning process.
In effecting its mission, OIR recognizes its service-orientation and strives to be as responsive as possible. In order to achieve the highest level of responsiveness, it is the policy of the Office that all data/information requests must be submitted in writing. The request must be clearly outlined, indicating the following: data/information specifics, data needed, person to receive the data/information, reason for the request, and purpose of use.
Upon receipt of the request, the Office will determine if the information requested might already be available in some published form. If so, the information will be provided as quickly as the workload, at the time, permits. If the information requested are not already in some published form, and would require additional time and effort, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.
Due to the workload and limited resources, OIR may not be able to fulfill to all data/information requests.
