Advising

Counseling

Academic Skills Center (ASC)
Technology Center, T217
Located inside the Library, the ASC supports students learning basic skills such as math or writing, as well as students studying English as a Second Language and students preparing to take the GED exam. Tutoring

Free drop-in tutoring is available for English, math, anatomy & physiology, computers and other subjects in the Academic Skills Center, room T217. For the current drop-in tutoring schedule see the Tutoring Web site. E-tutoring is also available for currently enrolled students.
Disability Support Services
West Building, W207
LWTC supports students with disabilities in their academic pursuits. Students with disabilities who need adjustments or assistance are encouraged to contact the Disability Support Services office before they enroll. If you have questions, visit the Disability Support Services Web site.
TRiO

This grant-funded program provides additional support services to students with disabilities, including tutoring, advising, support groups and more. To find out about eligibility for TRiO, visit their website.
Worker Retraining

The Worker Retraining program helps dislocated and unemployed workers, displaced homemakers and formerly self-employed workers retrain and return to work. Tuition assistance may be available. Workfirst Program

The Workfirst program supports low income parents with educational planning and career exploration. Free training programs are available and working parents may be eligible for tuition assistance. To learn more, visit the Workfirst Web page.
Employment Resource Center

Visit the Employment Resource Center for assistance in all aspects of your job search. Career Choice Workshops are offered the first and third Fridays of every month at 10 a.m., call 425.739.8315 to register. For more information check out the Employment Resource Center Web site.
International Programs
