LWTC offers convenient, on-campus services to address students’ needs and interests.

Bookstore

East Building, E127

Your instructors’ required and recommended textbooks are listed and stocked in the bookstore, or can be ordered online. In addition to books and course-related supplies, the bookstore sells a variety of snacks and gift items. For more information, visit the Bookstore Web site.

 

Child Care

South Portables 1-8

The Early Learning Center provides nurturing care to children between the ages of 1 year and walking and age 6.  For hours and fees, see the Early Learning Center Web site.

 

Library

Technology Center, T215

Do research, check email, or just hang out and study. Library staff will help you take full advantage of their online catalog, research databases and other  materials in this 18,000 square foot facility. You can access the library catalog and many other electronic resources through the Library's Learning Commons website.

 

Computer Lab

Technology Center, T413

Just for being an LWTC student you can access over 50 PCs and MACs with updated software used in campus classes and a high speed internet connection. Color printers and scanners are available, along with help from staff. For hours and more information, see the Computer Lab Web site.

 

Evergreen Healthcare

West Building, W101

Staffed by a registered nurse, the Evergreen Healthcare Access Program provides assessment or assistance for minor illnesses or injury, as well as health insurance assistance, free childhood immunizations and flu shots and free health exams for eligible community members. Dental Clinic

LWTC’s dental assisting and dental hygiene programs operate a non-profit dental clinic that is open to the community and offers a range of oral health care services. To learn more, visit the Dental Web site.

 

Fitness Center

Work out on campus at the student-run fitness center! Use cardio equipment or weights on your own or request a student personal trainer. For information on fees and hours, see the Fitness Center Web page.

 

Student Government/Student Programs

East Building, E214
Getting involved in student government (ASG), a club or committee gives you the opportunity be a part of campus decisions and practice leadership skills. ASG and club officers attend conferences and trainings and work with the college administration and faculty. Students can also hang out in the comfy student lounge.
