Pat McPherson

Pat McPherson has over 30 years experience in the early childhood profession. Her varied experience includes directing a large non-profit child care center, working with children ages birth to twelve in part-day and full-day programs, providing parent education programs and serving as a consultant to the industry.

For the past 25 years Pat has served as the lead early childhood faculty for the college. She is also the Director of the Early Learning Center. Pat was a member of the coalition that developed the Washington State Skill Standards for the Profession.

She is a member of the Washington Campus Children’s Center Coalition, the Washington Association of Educators of Personnel in Early Childhood Programs, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Ms. McPerson has:

• M.S. in Child Care Administration from Nova University
