Cosmetology
This program prepares students to meet state requirements, including hair styling, manicuring and permanent waving. The program consists of practical training offered offsite in collaboration with Bellevue Beauty School and Kirkland Beauty School which are both state accredited.
Cosmetology graduates will:
- Be prepared for a range of entry-level positions as stylists, colorists, company representatives, platform artists, and salon managers.
- Be prepared to succeed on the cosmetologist written and practical exams.
- Meet the Skills Standards of Washington for Cosmetology as set forth in RCW 18.16.
- Demonstrate the unique skills to perform excellent Customer Service.
Any developmental coursework a student may be required to complete may increase the program length.
