Seema Jain portrait

Seema Jain

I was born in India and raised in an environment dedicated to healthcare and teaching. My father was a Principal in College and both my brothers are leading physicians. Our parents have cultivated in us the values of serving the human kind. While growing up, I developed a passion for healthcare. I worked in a hospital for few years after graduating from Delhi University with a M.A. in Social Works. Then I furthered my education in computer applications. I came to US few years ago. I have always been a student on the President’s and Dean’s list by maintaining a GPA of 4.0 while studying in USA. I am currently certified by the Dental Assisting National Board. I am maintaining my CDA by completing continuing education credits.I have the work experience in the healthcare field as well in the teaching. I have worked in a busy general dentist office and have experience in the application of four-handed dentistry principles. I have been teaching at Lake Washington Technical College in the Dental Assisting Department since Summer 2006. I feel satisfied and contented by contributing constructive skills to my students. I am a hard-working, optimistic, confident, enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, well-organized, goal-oriented, resourceful and reliable person. My peers use to call me Ms. 4.0, Ms. Perfect and Ms. Talented. I have strong time-management skills and am good at multi-tasking. I love to keep my mind occupied with something constructive. I live my life by the “3-P” rule: Persistence, Preparedness, and Peace. I keep persistence in reaching my goal, am well prepared once I’ve achieved my goal, and be at peace with myself, no matter what life has in store.
