Karen Urick

Karen Urick has been a certified EMT and volunteer firefighter for 25 years. She has taught EMT classes for 23 years in King County and has been Senior EMT Instructor for Washington State for eight years. She is a member of the National Association of EMS Educators and is a certified instructor for CPR/AED, First Aid, Emergency Responders for the National Safety Council, and the American Red Cross. She has also been an Instructor Trainer for the National Disaster Life Support for both Basic Life and Advanced Life support as well as Firefighter Instructor level 1 and level 2.
