In addition to regular ESL classes, our program offers
- Civics classes: introduce students to campus and community resources, US history, holidays, and government
- On-line classes: help students improve reading and writing skills, review and practice grammar; students participate by submitting weekly on-line assignments
- I-BEST (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training): gives ESL/ABE students the opportunity to take professional-technical classes while they are still enrolled in higher-level ESL/ABE classes
All new students need to take a placement test, attend a program orientation class, register and pay $25.
