Esthetician Program
The Esthetician certificate of completion prepares students for application for Washington State Board of Esthetician Licensing Examination. Students take a total of 40 credits over two quarters while continuing their progress in Cosmetology. This Esthetician certificate is intended to be an articulation option to the Cosmetology Certificate of Proficiency.
The curriculum for students enrolled in an Esthetician program consists of 726 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of Esthetics. Successful graduates will have the skills and knowledge to pass the State Board exam and secure entry-level employment.
Esthetician certificate graduates can work at:
- Beauty salons
- Department stores
- Health and fitness spas
- Beauty and fashion-related businesses
