Industrial Plant Maintenance is a four-quarter certificate program which prepares technicians to operate, trouble shoot and maintain motors and controls, mechanical systems, heating and cooling equipment, electronic, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

All buildings, from industrial plants to commercial complexes and including residential housing, require maintenance. The IPMT (Industrial Plant Maintenance Technology) certificate program offered through Lake Washington Technical College (LWTC) addresses this need.

This program will prepare students to enter the field of facilities maintenance as a technician in a wide variety of industrial plants and commercial buildings. Lake Washington Technical College supports a diverse environment that enhances the quality of life for students and staff.
